Southeast gets the word out at Groveport Madison

This week Southeast Youth Services staff LA Karen Christensen and HHCC Stephanie Jones promoted teen gaming, the Homework Help Center, and book talked at Groveport Madison Middle School North to over 375 students. The response from the students was overwhelming! Later in the day a teacher came back to tell Karen that one her students was on the computer eagerly looking at the CML library catalog trying to locate one of the titles she'd shared. While Stephanie was on the information desk back at the branch, a student from Groveport Madison Middle School North and her mother stopped by to get more information regarding the HHC. Her mother said," My daughter came home from school today and was talking about the library and the HHC and teen gaming." So she thought she would stop by to learn more about it. The student even received her free pencil just as promised! What a wonderful opportunity to spread the word about all the exciting services offered at the library!
